My wife Jess and I took a trip up to Mason Lake in the Alpine Wilderness and went fly-fishing. It was a difficult haul up the steep, 3.5 mile hike with the float tubes and packs on our back, but ultimately well worth it. Here’s a pic from the trip. More to come!
A great friend and I went to the University of Washington football team’s practice today. I’ve gotta say it pumped me up for football season. Keith Price looked great – tight spirals, great mobility, good decisions. Recruit Austin Seferian-Jenkins was perhaps the biggest athlete I have ever seen in person. Can’t wait to see him play.
I just got Kathy Fish’s new flash fiction chapbook, “Wild Life”, in the mail. It’s Matter Press’s first chapbook release. I’m excited to read it!
