Ross McMeekin’s fiction has appeared recently or is forthcoming at publications like Virginia Quarterly Review, Shenandoah, Redivider, Passages North, Folio, Hobart, PANK, and Tin House‘s Flash Fiction Fridays. He writes a weekly column for the Ploughshares blog. His essays and interviews have appeared online in Hunger Mountain, Green Mountains Review, Numero Cinq, and The Rumpus. He received an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. He was 2013-2014 Made at Hugo House Fellow. He’s currently a Jack Straw Fellow. He’s represented by Reiko Davis of the Miriam Altshuler Literary Agency. He edits the literary journal Spartan, and before that served as the assistant fiction editor of Hunger Mountain. He was born, raised, and now lives in Seattle with his wife and daughter.
